Claudio Sanchez Rule 85

Rule 85: If it exists, there is pony of it. No exceptions.

It just turns out that I haven't seen any R85 of Claudio, so I decided to go ahead and do that. I've been nerding out over Coheed and Cambria since last October (listening to an album or 3 each day nearly every day, still somehow not getting sick of the songs). Seeing that Claudio is/was holding an AMA on Reddit, I decided to draw this up for him in appreciation of him taking the time to respond to questions and just as homage towards him.

I don't think the mane/tail came out as well as I hoped I would make it, but I tried :/. As for the minimalist background, I didn't know what else to do for it, and I was kinda rushing myself to get this done before the AMA started.

The guitar I drew is supposed to be a Gibson '76 Explorer Reissue in Cherry Red (I think). It was used in certain concerts and in the music video for Ten Speed (Of God's Blood and Burial). The mane, beard, and tail were based off of his previous hair styles, where he had a beard, and he also had yellowish curls on the inside of his hair. The cutie mark is the Keywork, which is a logo of the band, and I made him a unicorn so he could use the guitar without me drawing him in an even more awkward position (I can't draw a standing pony).

Fun Facts:
-This picture consists of 90 layers
-Drawn in SAI, cutie mark placement and magic effects done in Photoshop.
-Guitars are now enemies that I have added to my drawing list.
-Unicorn Magic is also now an enemy of mine. More specifically, magic sparkles.
-I had drawn out 5 initial sketches of Claudio's mane and tail before picking a design that looks somewhat like Claudio's hair.
-I was going to have him singing as well, but I didn't know how I'd go about drawing that, so I simply had him rocking out.
-I also originally intended on him being an earth pony, but I didn't know how to have him hold a guitar without standing (again, my Achilles Heel) or having him look like he was being drawn on a base that someone else would have done.
